Eligibility and Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use PlayVlay.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
User Content and Ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit, upload, generate, or share. You grant PlayVlay a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and distribute that content as required to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Intellectual Property Rules
- You must own content rights or have valid permission to use the content.
- You must not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or privacy/publicity rights.
- Do not use protected characters, logos, soundtracks, or artwork without authorization.
AI-Generated Content
PlayVlay may offer generation features powered by third-party AI services. AI output may be inaccurate or similar to existing works. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing or sharing it.
We may remove, disable, or restrict content that appears unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms.
Copyright Complaints
To report alleged copyright infringement, email support@playvlay.com and include:
- your contact information;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- a link or description of disputed content;
- a good-faith statement and authority/accuracy statement;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Accounts that repeatedly post infringing content may be suspended or terminated.
Game Content and Licence to Play
Games on PlayVlay — including their code, artwork, audio, level design, and the PlayVlay game SDK — are owned by PlayVlay or by the creators who made them, and are protected by copyright. Games delivered to your device or browser are provided to you under a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play them on PlayVlay. No other rights are granted.
Because games run in your browser or app, their code is necessarily readable on your device. Being able to read or save that code does not give you a licence to reuse it. Without our prior written permission, or the permission of the creator who owns the game, you must not:
- copy, download, or extract a game in order to republish, host, distribute, or sell it;
- publish a game, or a substantially similar derivative of it, on any other platform or store;
- remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, creator credit, or PlayVlay branding;
- use PlayVlay games or the PlayVlay game SDK to build a competing service.
Creators keep ownership of the games they upload. By publishing on PlayVlay a creator grants PlayVlay the licence needed to host, display, and distribute their game on the service; they do not grant other users any right to copy or reuse it. If you believe your game has been copied and republished, contact support@playvlay.com and we will act under the Copyright Complaints and Repeat Infringer sections above.
Playing a game normally, sharing a PlayVlay link, or streaming or recording your own gameplay is fine and encouraged.
Prohibited Conduct
- Unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful activity.
- Cheating, scraping, botting, or interfering with service operations.
- Reverse engineering or bypassing security protections.
- Copying, extracting, or republishing games, game code, assets, or the PlayVlay game SDK, whether ours or another creator’s.
- Uploading malware or harmful code.
Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for product, legal, or security reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Third-Party Services
PlayVlay uses third-party services such as hosting, analytics, authentication, and AI providers. Your use of such integrations may also be subject to their terms.
Purchases and Billing
Purchases are processed by your app store provider. Refunds follow applicable app store policies.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayVlay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify PlayVlay and its affiliates for claims or losses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the service operator's jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.
Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms over time. Continued use after updates means acceptance of revised Terms.
